GAC on Rotation: Adventure Travel Songs
Every good adventure needs a sound track… and unless you’re Travis Pastrana it can’t be all heavy metal. You want enough beat to get your adrenaline up and some nice easy listening to let you enjoy the Great Outdoors in Colorado.
For our magic adventure playlist formula, start with some “Road To Nowhere ” by the Talking Heads, because who doesn’t like the Talking Heads?!
We’re on a road to paradise
Here we go, here we go.
I don’t know about you, but every time I’m in Glenwood Springs, I feel like I’m in paradise. Whether I’m rushing through the rapids while whitewater rafting on the Colorado River or enjoying the awesome view of the sheer canyon walls in Glenwood Canyon, there’s no denying it really is a adventure traveler’s escape.
After a little warm up, get your heart pumping with “Born To Be Wild” by Steppenwolf, “Sail” by AWOLNATION, “Immigrant Song” by Led Zepplin and “Bamboleo” by the Gypsy Kings. After this tour through the ages and around the world, your body better be inspired to move. Paddle harder! Pedal faster!
We’ve thrown in some other great tunes to wind things down, and of course it wouldn’t be a Colorado adventure playlist without some good ole’ John Denver, “Rocky Mountain High”
Check out our adventure travel songs to get you stoked about your spring break, summer travel plans or just brighten up a gloomy winter day.
