A guided Can-Am Defender tour on the 6,000 acre Bair Ranch is a thrilling and unforgettable experience that allows visitors to explore the rugged and beautiful terrain of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. The tour is led by an experienced guide who will take you on an adventure up to 9,000 feet overlooking the surrounding canyons and mountains.
The adventure is 2.5 hours on the trail and starts with a safety briefing and an orientation on how to operate the Defender UTV. Your guide will then lead you through the ranch’s rugged terrain, with frequent stops at scenic overlooks for photo opportunities. The Can-Am Defender is the perfect vehicle for navigating the rugged, twisting terrain of forest, mountain trails, and ranch roads
As you explore the ranch, you may encounter wildlife such as elk, deer, and other mountain animals. Your guide will provide interesting facts and information about the wildlife and the natural history of the area.

Age Limit:
- Drivers: Must be at least 20+ years old with a valid ID
- Riders: Must be at least 8 years old
Weather
This tour operates rain or shine. We recommend bringing rain gear, as some of the best adventures unfold in the rain and snow.
Vehicle Damage
Before your rental, you will document any pre-existing damage on the vehicle’s pre-ride checklist form. Should any damage occur during your rental period, you will be responsible for the costs of repairs and any associated labor needed to restore the vehicle.
